Do You Parent Out Of Fear?

Is it appropriate to be aware of where your children are, who they are with, and what they are doing? Absolutely! Is it necessary to be involved in their lives, restrict their activities, supervise their relationships, and set boundaries? Of course. If parents don’t do those things, they are negligent, but there is a big difference between that kind of parenting and the kind that is so terrified for their children that they never let them live life for themselves.
